Finance Manager (Maternity Cover) – London
Hybrid / 1-2 days On Site | Creative Recruitment Industry
Immediate Start | 11 Months FTC
Salary: circa £50K
We’re a leading London-based creative recruitment agency (24 years strong!) partnering with top brands across Creative, Entertainment, Tech and Global sectors - and we’re hiring a Finance Manager to run our finance function during a maternity cover.
This is a stand-alone role with full ownership of finance operations plus the opportunity to introduce new processes to make us smarter, faster and more efficient.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Run weekly + monthly payroll (incl. commissions)
- Produce monthly management accounts + financial insights
- Cashflow forecasting + bank and balance sheet recs
- Invoice processing, expenses, credit control & VAT
- Month-end close + journal posting
- Support Directors with reporting and analysis
- Use AI tools + automation to streamline reconciliations, reporting, workflows and dashboards
What We’re Looking For
- Finance Manager experience in a stand-alone role.
- Ideally experience with Temporary and Permanent payroll
- Recruitment agency experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong Sage 50 and Excel skills
- Excellent communicator, detail-focused, system savvy & highly organised
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
