About the role.

HR Manager – 3 Month FTC

Production Agency – 4 days onsite, 1 day wfh

£45K - £55K DOE

I’m working with a brilliant, international creative production business who are looking for an HR Manager to join their UK People team on a 3-month FTC. This is a really varied, HR generalist role, supporting the full employee lifecycle across the UK studio, whilst also contributing to wider global People initiatives.

You’ll be joining a creative and fast-paced environment where employee experience is genuinely important. The role will suit someone who is hands-on, organised and confident providing both operational HR support and trusted advice to employees and managers. We are looking for someone people-focused, service-led and approachable, who can make an immediate impact.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Acting as a first point of contact for UK employee relations queries, providing practical advice and guidance
  • Supporting managers with performance, wellbeing and ER matters, escalating more complex cases where needed
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding across employees, freelancers and FTCs
  • Drafting contracts, freelance agreements and letters for changes such as promotions and variations
  • Owning the UK payroll process and liaising with the external payroll provider
  • Maintaining accurate employee data across the HR system, including absence, holiday and benefits
  • Producing regular people data and reporting, including headcount, attrition and diversity metrics
  • Managing UK benefits including healthcare, pension, life assurance and wellbeing initiatives
  • Supporting visa applications and ensuring a positive employee experience throughout
  • Working with Finance and Operations around the engagement of freelancers, including IR35 and HMRC compliance
  • Supporting L&D initiatives and wider People projects
  • Helping to continuously improve People processes, policies, documentation and systems
  • Keeping up to date with UK employment legislation and ensuring processes remain compliant
  • Supporting DE&I initiatives across the business
