About the role.

Business Development Coordinator – Design Agency
£50,000 | London | 5 days in the office
Hours: 8:00/8:15am – 5:30pm

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, creative and highly entrepreneurial business to find an exceptional Business Development Coordinator for a newly created role at the heart of its commercial team.
Despite the title, this isn’t a traditional business development or sales role. It’s a hands-on senior support and coordination position for someone who loves creating structure, keeping busy people organised and making sure actions actually happen.
Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you’ll support a lively, ambitious team by bringing organisation, consistency and accountability to their client development activity.

What you’ll be doing
  • Owning trackers for priority clients, actions, deadlines and next steps
  • Coordinating activity across Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Events
  • Preparing meeting agendas, capturing actions and ensuring effective follow-up
  • Confidently chasing actions and holding people accountable for commitments
  • Producing clear weekly updates on progress, priorities and outstanding actions
  • Coordinating diaries, client meetings, events and follow-up activity
  • Supporting occasional market mapping, research and target-list development
  • Spotting gaps, improving processes and creating better ways of working
  • Acting as a calm, organised point of contact across a busy commercial team
The focus is very much on hands-on coordination and follow-through rather than owning commercial strategy.

Who were looking for:
  • You could currently be a Senior Team Assistant, BD/Sales Coordinator, Project Coordinator or Business Support professional, ideally with some previous agency or commercial experience.
  • You'll be highly organised, resilient and proactive, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and strong personalities.
  • You'll enjoy being the person who knows what's happening, what needs doing and who needs a nudge.
  • You'll have excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

The culture is energetic, sociable and ambitious, so this will suit someone who enjoys pace, collaboration and being genuinely involved.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who takes pride in being the organisational engine behind a successful team and wants to make a visible impact. If this sounds like you, do not delay and apply today for an immediate interview!

We are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment process and welcome applications from all backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
