Early Careers Advisor – Cultural Arts£31K - £36,500KHybrid: 3 days onsiteWe are partnering with a well-known museum, who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Early Careers Advisor to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the museum’s workforce. Reporting directly to the Head of Talent and Skills, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the comprehensive Early Careers programmes .
This exciting role focuses on three key areas:
1. Apprenticeships
- Manage the Apprenticeship Levy: Strategically oversee the apprenticeship levy, ensuring funds are effectively utilized.
- Develop the Apprenticeship Programme: Design and implement a robust apprenticeship programme that aligns with the museum’s broader objectives and meets apprenticeship targets.
2. Early Careers Experiences
- Deliver Impactful Experiences: Create and oversee a range of early careers experiences, including internships, work experience, and placements, to nurture the talent pipeline and support future growth. You will partner with the ED&I Lead within the business, developing and executing initiatives to improve the opportunities for diverse and underrepresented candidates.
3. Own and Deliver Programmes: Take charge of the museum’s early careers programmes, including:
- Monthly Group Induction: Ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated and aligned with the V&A’s mission and values.
- Personal Skills Programme: Facilitate personal development initiatives to equip early careers professionals with essential skills for career progression.
We are looking for someone with at least 12 months experience working within an in-house Early Careers team. You will be passionate about developing and shaping the future of the museum, and have demonstrable experience of delivering programmes of apprenticeships and internships. You will have worked in a larger business, and be able to handle high volume and high pace. Strong stakeholder management is ESSENTIAL and ability to engage and influence.
