This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a passion for people, a sharp eye for detail, and a natural flair for running a high-performing FOH operation.
This is a
6-month contract with strong potential to go permanent, and offers a chance to be the face of a buzzing, creative studio – managing a warm, efficient and friendly welcome for clients, talent and team members alike.
The Role: As
Front of House Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area and wider studio support.
You’ll lead a team of five (receptionists and runners), own the client experience, and work closely with external providers (like catering and security) to ensure the studio is running like clockwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering a first-class FOH experience for clients, visitors, and staff
- Managing and developing a team of 5 (receptionists & runners) – including rotas, holiday management, performance reviews and team development
- Supporting with recruitment and onboarding for FOH
- Acting as the key liaison with external providers such as catering and building services
- Overseeing room bookings, daily schedules, and studio communications
- Running reception operations – but not chained to the desk! You’ll be hands-on and always on the move
- Managing supplies, stock, welcome packs and petty cash
- Studio admin including travel booking, courier management, invoice approvals, and equipment purchasing
- Supporting social and client events and creating a warm, inclusive culture through studio celebrations (think Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, etc.)
About You:
- 3–4 years' experience in a senior FOH or reception role, ideally in a creative industry (e.g. production, post, media, agency)
- A natural people person – approachable, warm, and confident engaging with all levels
- Someone who gets things done and stays calm under pressure
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Experience leading small teams and carrying out reviews, rotas, and development plans
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities – no two days will look the same!
