Marketing Manager – Immersive Entertainment Startup
Freelance - Potential to be Permanent.

Rate - £250/275 per day

An ambitious new entertainment venture is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead its multi-channel campaigns at a pivotal stage of growth. Currently operating from a landmark London venue, our client is looking for a freelance creative marketing manager for an initial 5 month contract which can potentially become permanent at the start of 2026
The Marketing Manager will take full ownership of marketing delivery, balancing a mix of 70% talent-driven campaigns and 30% brand marketing, across all social channels, web and targeted newsletters, emails and experiential events.

Some out of hours work is required on events.

The Role
The Marketing Manager will lead on high-impact campaigns that grow awareness, drive membership, and showcase unique events. This is a hands-on, strategic position with responsibility across social, digital, PR, content, and partnerships, working closely with creative and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and experiential channels
  • Manage all marketing functions including brand, content, membership, and communications
  • Translate creative vision into clear, effective marketing strategies
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and delivery across multiple projects
  • Manage and mentor internal marketing support and external collaborators
  • Implement and refine tools, systems, and processes for efficient marketing delivery, including CRM
  • Work closely with the creative team to create content
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing with wider business goals
  • Balance creativity with insight under a “data-informed, not data-driven” philosophy

  • Proven experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong digital, content, and data-informed marketing skills
  • Excellent communication and copywriting abilities
  • Creative mindset and happy in a startup environment
  • Experience in a cool brand or agency
  • Confident leading projects and teams in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for culture and storytelling
