About the role.

Media Systems Regional Engineer
1 Year Temporary Contract.
Hybrid (Central London) / June Start
Rate - Highly Competitive

We’re working with a global streaming and entertainment organisation to recruit a Media Systems Regional Engineer on a 12-month temporary contract. This role supports the technology infrastructure behind creative production environments, ensuring the reliability of systems used across screening rooms, post-production suites, QC environments and other creative spaces.

You will act as a regional engineering lead, maintaining and troubleshooting complex media systems while collaborating with a global engineering team to ensure consistent standards and operational excellence across locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot professional audio, video and media systems across post-production and screening environments
  • Perform audio and video calibration to meet theatrical, broadcast and internal standards
  • Support post-production pipelines and media encoding workflows used by creative teams
  • Act as the regional point of contact for Media Systems Engineering support and issue resolution
  • Partner with internal network teams to resolve media networking and A/V over IP issues
  • Coordinate with external vendors to manage hardware lifecycle, maintenance and service agreements
  • Maintain technical documentation including SOPs, runbooks and troubleshooting guides

Technical Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting post-production, studio or creative technology environments
  • Strong knowledge of screening room and cinema systems
  • Experience supporting post-production software and tools such as Avid, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve or Pro Tools
  • Understanding of A/V over IP and media networking
  • Familiarity with digital audio consoles, playback systems and production routing
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals including VLANs and subnets
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability and experience supporting high-performance creative environments
