Our client, a globally recognised media and entertainment platform, is investing significantly in live sports and premium live events and is seeking a senior commercial partnerships specialist to help shape and accelerate its next phase of growth.
This is a high-impact contract opportunity for an experienced sports revenue leader who combines exceptional industry relationships with a hands-on approach to business development and deal-making.
Working across a portfolio of major live sporting and entertainment properties, you will identify commercial opportunities, build strategic partnerships and generate new revenue streams from brands, sponsors, advertisers and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow senior relationships across sports brands, sponsors, advertisers and agencies
- Identify, originate and close new commercial partnership opportunities
- Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and deal completion
- Help shape commercial propositions, sponsorship packages and go-to-market strategies for upcoming live events
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, activation and leadership stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities
- Represent the business externally with senior decision-makers across the sports and media ecosystem
Ideal Background
- Significant experience within sports sponsorship, partnerships, media sales, rights-holder commercialisation or live event monetisation
- Established relationships across brands, agencies, rights holders, governing bodies and sponsorship decision-makers
- Proven track record of delivering meaningful commercial revenue growth
- Comfortable operating in highly entrepreneurial, fast-moving environments
- Equally capable of developing strategy and executing directly with clients
- Credible, commercially astute and highly relationship-driven
Experience across premium live sports, including football, rugby, boxing, wrestling, tennis or other major sports properties, would be highly advantageous.
